Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use and Service Terms govern access to the Bugs & Blades website and services.

By accessing the website or scheduling services, you agree to these Terms.

 

Services

Bugs & Blades provides residential tick treatment and pest management services within Connecticut.

All services are performed by licensed pesticide applicators in compliance with Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) regulations and applicable laws.

 

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe access to the property

  • Secure pets and children during treatment

  • Unlock gates and remove obstacles

  • Disclose hazards such as wells, irrigation systems, or underground utilities

  • Follow pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions

Failure to comply may reduce treatment effectiveness.

 

Treatment Expectations

While our treatments significantly reduce tick populations, no pest control service can guarantee 100% elimination due to environmental conditions beyond our control including wildlife activity, weather, vegetation, and neighboring untreated properties.

 

Weather and Scheduling

Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to:

  • Rain or severe weather

  • Environmental conditions

  • Equipment issues

  • Supply availability

  • Events beyond our control

 

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services.

By providing a credit card, you authorize Bugs & Blades to charge the card the day following completion of service.

We do not offer automatic service renewals.

Credit card information is securely stored and processed by a third-party payment processor.

 

SMS Communications & Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Bugs & Blades at 203-434-3279 regarding informational communications including:

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Service notifications

  • Billing updates

  • Customer support communications

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.

Data Sharing Statement

Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose.

Any information sharing referenced elsewhere in these Terms excludes mobile opt-in data.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Connecticut law, Bugs & Blades shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

 

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Connecticut.

Parties agree to first attempt informal resolution.

If unresolved, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
